Dr. Mosli has a decade of healthcare experience specializing in addiction health, environmental public health, and health policy.
He has spent his career working with multidisciplinary teams to provide focused medical care to vulnerable populations, including opioid agonist therapy, alcohol addiction therapy, hepatitis C treatment, and much more.
Dr. Gursky has years of experience in addiction treatment and has a passion for moving patients toward recovery from their addictions. He is trained in public health and preventative medicine and certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His current focus is treating opioid use disorder.
Dr. Yakout is a certified MD CCFP physician with a CAM Reach Fellowship. She has decades of experience in primary care, women's health, and mental health, as well as being CPSA-certified in opioid and substance use treatment.
Dr. Farook Oosman has been a Family Physician with Care Gateway Medical Wetaskiwin since it opened in 2022.
Farook graduated from the University of Wales (UK) and then practiced in Mauritius for 6 months. He then joined the Anesthesia fellowship program at the University of Wales. He joined the Anesthesia faculty at the University of Saskatchewan in 1970. After 6 months, he went to practice in the community of Humbolt, Saskatchewan. While in Humbolt, Farook did a combination of anesthesia and family practice for 28 years. Then moved to Calgary 2003.
Dr. Jaskaran Singh is a Specialist Public Health Physician with a focused practice in Addiction and Mental Health. Dr. Jaskaran has significant roots in Alberta having grown up in Edmonton, completing his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Alberta and his Medical Degree at the University of Calgary. He completed his Specialist Training in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the University of Calgary. His interest in Addiction and Mental Health started in the beginning days of the COVID pandemic when the needs of vulnerable populations became a focus for the last years of his training. He started working at The Smart Clinic in 2022 with the vision of combining his Public Health and Preventative Medicine experience with Addiction Medicine. His other practice areas include Infectious Diseases, Sports Medicine, and telehealth for remote and rural areas.
Fernando is a Public Health & Preventive Medicine specialist with a strong interest in Public Health and Population Health related strategies, Addiction Medicine and Sexual Health. His 10+ years of medical experience includes working as a healthcare provider in hospitals, clinics, and home care settings. He also had the opportunity to work as a medical advisor in the pharmaceutical industry. Fernando is passionate about advocating for and working with special populations including vulnerable groups, people facing substance use disorders, and the LGBTQ2S community. He holds a certification from the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM). Besides his medical training, Fernando’s academic background includes postgraduate studies in Marketing Management (Specialist) and Medical Education (MSc.).
